There were lots of exciting developments in marketing technology during the past week (when aren’t there?) and here are some of our favorites.
Mitch Joel offered his view of the agency of the future and the folks at Strategy and Business share their vision for AR in Retail. We also included posts on Google’s branded texts, Facebook’s use of AI, and using AI to develop and test new creative in real-time. For you gamers, Chartboost is launching playable ads.
Google has announced a new platform to provide businesses an upgraded alternative to traditional SMS texting, allowing them to brand text messages, alerts and other communications
“Facebook today cannot exist without AI. Every time you use Facebook or Instagram or Messenger, you may not realize it, but your experiences are being powered by AI.”
Using facial tracking technology and genetics-based algorithms, the poster took the aspects that people looked at the longest and then incorporated that into the next design evolution.
This new ad format is more than just a playable ad, it’s an immersive interactive moment within a game where the player chooses their level of engagement. By reaching mobile gamers in their element, the ad becomes seamless and natural.
